Plan your Wedding Hairstyle Early

Published by Rashid under Weddings

Every bride wants to look her best on her wedding day. One of the most important “ingredients” for this is your hairstyle.

I’m sure you all know what a “bad hair day” looks and more importantly feels like. I don’t think that this is the risk any bride wants to take. There’s enough to worry about on the day no matter how much planning you’ve put into it. So don’t wait too long to decide what hairstyle would suit you personally and matches the dress and the wedding theme you’ve chosen for the day.

One of the most important things is to be realistic with what hairstyle your hair can “sustain” for a day. You really do want to avoid choosing a style say two month before your wedding day, only to hear from a professional hairdresser that this is unachievable.

So I suggest very strongly that you talk to your hairdresser well before your wedding, show him or her pictures of your dress as well as hairstyles you like, the wedding magazines are full of ideas, and start working towards this goal.

Please do consider that any hair takes a while to grow, and you definitely need to allocate enough time to have your hair growing to the desired length.

Some brides have had to wear wigs, and there’s nothing wrong with it, however buying a wig ones again is something that does take time and again it is much better to talk to a professional before making a final choice. The bride wants to look great on her wedding day, and a great deal of a successful wedding is the congruency of styles, such as the dress and the hairstyle.

How to Prevent a Wedding Hairstyle Drama

Ones you have chosen the dress and determined if you’re going to wear a veil or maybe a tiara or some other head ornament and accessory.

Also consider if you’ve perm or color your hair on a regular basis that these treatments get done in time as well. As a general rule, if any or both of the above treatments are part of your overall appearance, have them done about a month before the wedding day. You’ve probably experienced, that the look in color and perm is likely to soften a bit over this period of time, which makes your hair look more natural.

Probably the most popular wedding hairstyle is the “updo”.

The brides hair gets pulled up into what looks like a high crown of hair. The hairstyle looks very elegant, and can be worn by just about any bride. However, keep in mind it does take longish hair for this hairstyle to work, so please allocate enough time for your hair to grow to the length needed.

Which ever hairstyle you choose as your favorite one. I think it is a good idea to try out a couple of stylists, to see which one is the best for your needs.
