Pre-planning and realistic timelines are the keys to a successful Wedding day

Published by Rashid under Weddings

You’re engaged, how exiting for you, your family and friends. But as you well know this is just the beginning. The earlier you and your future husband are clear on what your wedding day should look like the better and easier it will be.  Now, it is very important that every step you take from this point on is organized and well planned to make sure that you get the wedding of your dreams.  Arguably the best way to proceed from here is through detailed organization and preparation; your wedding planner will be your security and sanity check for the months ahead.

To Buy A Wedding Planner Is an Option When Planning Your Wedding

As you start to plan for your wedding ceremony and reception, you will need to purchase or create your own wedding planner.  This book is a great way to maintain an overview, keep track of all your contacts, ideas, and arrangements you’ve made so far and what steps are to be taken next.

There are a variety of commercially produced wedding planners that are available.   These beautifully arranged books provide checklists, photographs, timelines and questionnaires for the various vendors you will encounter during your planning sessions.

While these books are beautifully presented and offer a lot of ideas and resources, they actually are rather expensive. It obviously is you decision whether you want to invest in an “official wedding planner” or not. However, if your on a  budget, it might be more prudent to save the money and create one of your own wedding planner.

Who to Create Your Own inexpensive Wedding Planner,

It really is very easy to create your own wedding planner. Just buy a  two or three ring binder and some page dividers.  These items can pick them up for very little money at any department, stationary or discount store.  Once you have the basic supplies, a visit to your local library can provide you with all the checklists, timelines, vendor suggestions and ideas to include in your planner. Additionally I suggest you get some of the bigger Wedding magazines and talk to friends and work mates who’ve organized their own wedding to get some ideas of the do’s and don’ts.

Your Wedding Planner, It Will Become Your Constant Companion

As you begin to plan your wedding, make sure that each time you make an enquiry,  phone call, come up with a new idea, find a photo you want to add to your repertoire of ideas or sign a contract, you will want to update the records.  Your wedding planner will become your constant companion, as you move from who to invite, where to hold the reception, which wedding vows to choose, what dress to wear and much more.

You may well find that after your wedding day is over, you want to keep your wedding planner, since you’ve put so much work into making you wedding day a day to remember for the rest of your life.
